8 Week Dog Training Course

“‘I liked that the class size was low, so you got enough time and help from Grahame, if you needed. The venue was great as it to allowed us to work outside on sunny evenings. I also felt that Grahame got to know each dog and its owner, and was always very positive with lots of praise’”

Norwich Dog Training Classes

We provide an 8-week introductory course with ongoing advanced classes for handlers wishing to develop their dog’s skills further.

Our introductory class is limited to 6 dogs (unless exceptional circumstances) as we do not concur with the strategy of many establishments which cram large numbers of dogs into one class. We believe in providing a ‘quality not quantity’ training service that under promises, but over delivers.

Training is carried outside when the weather is good, inside when its poor. We have access to two large training fields and an in-door training facility.

We are now taking bookings for 2025 (October 2024 course fully booked).

Comprehensive

We have been told by many (and our repeat clients) is that our 8-week course is one of the most comprehensive introductory classes they have attended.

We incorporate many of the lessons we have learned over many years, from the fields of obedience competition, character tests, and sports training to help ensure that both dogs and their handlers are well equipped to face the many challenges of modern life.

Real World Training

Our 8-week course, incudes theory and methodology in the first week, but is practical and hands-on for the remaining 7 weeks.

The course is designed to provide handlers with a basic skill level to deal with everyday situations.

It is the type of training every dog owner should have as a basic minimum to ensure that their dog is a well-behaved member of society.

Training Material

‘Students’ are provided with training material to help them remember what has been taught in class, and to help anyone who has missed a class to catch up.

On graduation our students are awarded a certificate of attendance and an honorary gift you can use for many years after the course has been completed. To help remind you of your time at NDTS.

The course fee of £110 is to be paid in advance.
